I forgot one

I can't believe I almost forgot to mention my incredible save!! For those of you who know my dad, he doesn't make very many mistakes in his life- so for example... he recently got his first speeding ticket a year ago and we all cheered (my mom the loudest). So I not only got to witness one of these mistakes, but I was the one prepared and able to tow my dad out!! It made my day!! What happened was this: We were off to see the Paris Ice Caves and there was a big patch of snow in the road and Papa Jerry had to turn around and didn't realize there was a ditch. After I rescued the Van, some of us went on to hike the rest of the way.
While I am talking about my dad- tomorrow is his birthday!! I have to say my dad is amazing. He has accomplished a great many things in his life, and is getting ready to retire in the next couple of weeks. He is one of my heros in life!! I love you dad... Happy Birthday!!

The Paris Ice Caves...we made it!

Adam

We couldn't make out the cave and had to turn around and go out the way we came in. Here is what we would have had to climb up with at least 10 foot cliffs on the sides.

Here is where Chris narrowly escaped falling through... you can see the hole he made in the hollow snow.

Ryan was an awesome hiker. He was so funny- he would sprint and then sit, rest, and wait for us to catch up.
