Ashlin loves her Daddy... and so do I!!

Ashlin has commented several times that her Prince Charming is Daddy. Yesterday, she came home from church and asked if she could marry Daddy.
She held Brett's hand as she looked adoringly up at him. And then said, "Mommy take a picture. Daddy, smile, ok?"
Afterward I told Ashlin that Mommy was married to Daddy. She asked me where we got married, and if we were living "Happy ever after."

As proof of my complaining... this picture was taken last week!!

I was about to post a "Dear Utah, thank you for the beautiful weather" yesterday, but it started to SNOW AGAIN!!! That's right, it was April 26th and it was SNOWING. It didn't stick, but still.

A little annoyed,

Jenae

I guess it is time for a trip somewhere warm...anyone want company?

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. For dessert, everyone had to decorate cookies. I love the creations everyone came up with.

Fort Building

One of Ashlin's new activities to do is to build forts! She creates some pretty amazing forts that I can't believe she did all by herself. Here is one.

Rachel over the past two years.

I spent a lot of today looking at baby pictures of Rachel, I still don't believe she is two!!

I should re-title my post "the progression into Ashlin."

Rachel turns 2!

I can not believe my baby is already 2 years old! She is still so little in my mind!!

Here is her cupcake cake that I made. She LOVES Tinkerbell so I decided to do a flower.....

and add a Tinkerbell doll to fly over it!!

I had a lot of fun making this cake, and it was much easier to pipe than the Dora one I did for Ashlin when she was 2.

Rachel liked her cake. Ashlin loved it too, she told me, "oh mommy, that is SUCH a pretty flower!."

Rachel and Ashlin opening presents...

and posing...

Rach playing with her new stroller. Try and take this toy away from her... many tried, not many succeeded.

Thanks to Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who called, gave presents, and/or came to her party. We had a lot of fun playing and watching Conference together.
