Broken Arm =(
This is our first real injury in our family since Brett and I were married almost 8 years ago!! And it cracks us up that it was Ashlin to break (no pun intended) our streak! She was showing off to her friend that she could do the monkey bars, and fell off. I think she must have gotten nervous at the last second, but had already took her first swing. She fell and put her hand out to stop her. The most "classic" way a kid breaks their arm/wrist. She broke the radius all the way through, which surprised the doctor because of the way she was dancing at the office the day after the injury.

poor ashlin! i had three casts during my childhood and one of them looked just like hers. love the pink stripes!
What a girl's gotta do for some attention and a balloon! No, way to go on making it 8 years with no injuries--that's gotta count for something! love the cast though!
BUMMER! I'm sure (unfortunately) will won't make it 8 years :( Glad she seems to be taking it pretty well though!

I can't believe that she actually broke her arm. That morning as we were driving to a Stake Center her Grandpa Jerry was citing a study which claims that children who never take risks are at a disadvantage in life. Now Ashlin is sporting a designer cast to go with her cute smile. Love you Ash!
