They were both very excited. Rachel's comment was something like, "It is about time I went to school!"
Today (Oct. 18th), she had the "letter bag" to share with her class. After school I asked how it went. She quickly responded,"Bad. Because I got scared (pause) but I did it anyway."
I don't know why it kind of cracks me up whenever Rachel has "normal" 4 year old moments.

What cuties! Thanks for sharing their first day of school. It is about time Rachel went to school! Sometimes I think she was born 13 years old!
