me: your magicals?
Ashlin: yeah, my magicals!
me: hmm, Ashlin I'm not sure if I know what magicals are, what do they look like?
Ashlin: umm, like my magicals

Ashlin: Oh my magicals! (Comes running in with the arms from the mr. potato head)
Kangaroo Zoo
We got to go to the Kangaroo Zoo yesterday because Ashlin filled up her potty chart. It is a place full of those inflatable slides, and Ashlin LOVES it. I just paid for Ashlin to play because it was just me and the girls and Rachel does not share the same joy of going down slides like her sister and she wasn't really feeling the best. I tried to just sit on the couches they have and read a magazine, but Ashlin would have nothing to do with that- she wanted me watching her and following her around. Since this was a reward for her I appeased her, but wishing she would just go play by herself. After about 2 hours, I told Ashlin it was time to go and told her we could get some Skittles when we got home (hoping to keep everything in good spirits). She no she wanted to play more, and then told me "One more slide mommy". I agreed and then she avoided me like the plague. When I finally found her she saw me and ran the opposite direction to the big 3-story slides and started climbing up. I was cracking up to myself when this little girl who had made friends with Ashlin there told me.. "I don't think she is coming down" To my surprise, when Ashlin came down I told her it was time to go and she said ok, "And we get some Skittles when we get home!"

Don't you just love the funny things they come up with and how they avoid you when you want them to come...Abby doesn't sound like she is as good as Ashlin though, she kicks and screams the whole way out of anywhere!!

haha Jenae! Next time you will know to tell Ashy it is time to go 1 hour before you intend to, and then you can have your free time to read your magazine! We have to keep trying to outsmart them Jenae...we have to keep trying...
