Right after they left we went to play with Jasper, but he wasn't in our back yard anymore. A little panicked because I had just lost Jasper in less than 10 min of being in charge of him, I called his name out and he came running from above our rock wall which runs along our entire street.
Ashilin loved having Jasper, she would go out and play with him for hours. Rachel was pretty oblivious to him and would only pause when Jasper licked her before moving on.
Now I think I want a dog... thoughts anyone?

I was NEVER raised with pets, so I'm not the biggest fan, but hey, more power to you if you want one!!
I disagree with alisa :) I have always had a dog and they can teach kids a lot of responsibility, be a totally loyal and unconditionally loving friend and they are just so much fun...but they are also a lot of work. You know how much we love our Penny and treat her like a family member so we are biased I guess :) But I say go for it!!! Love and miss you! ~Jocelyn

I don't think I need to comment on our opinion of our kid... I mean dog.
Depends on if you like a nice steady diet of dog hair in your food...
Brooklyn is basically in love with dogs as well. We want to get one for her B-day :)

DON'T DO IT!!!! You know how much I love Charlie and Lola...but I think if I could go back and do it over I wouldn't do it! Our yard is destroyed, and I want my kids to have grass and not worry about stepping in poop everytime they play...not to mention getting a sitter every time you go out of town. Just enjoy Shauni's...and when you visit us you can enjoy ours!!!! Or maybe...you can adopt ours!!!!!
I have been contemplating the same thing...Aaron has vetoed the idea for now...but Grace is such a little dog lover I think we will wear him down eventually!
