Ashlin is 3!!

I woke up Sunday and couldn't believe that it was 3 years ago that Ashlin entered our family. We love her and the sweetness that she brings to our family.
Ashlin has been so excited about her birthday. After Rachel's birthday Ashlin kept asking me when it was her birthday. I finally gave her a countdown of her aunts/uncles and cousins (we have a TON of family birthdays April and May), and she knew hers was after her Aunt Shauni's birthday. She became just as excited for Shauni's birthday as her own because hers came after Shauni's.

Her Barbie Cake... I have to say that I am quite pleased with how it turned out.




Whenever Ashlin sees Abby in a skirt, she immediately wants to change into a skirt too. So naturally, when Ashlin saw Abby she wanted to get a skirt too. Abby quickly pipes up that Ashlin needs to open her present and said, "I really think she will like it (with a big grin on her face)." Shuani had made matching skirts for Ashlin, Abby, and Rachel complete with cute hats. Here are the skirts.

Side note: Today I dressed Ashlin and Rachel in these matching skirts and hats and tons of people commented on how cute they looked, and didn't believe me when I told them they were made by my sister-in-law. They were suddenly more impressed, and I felt as though I get some of that creativity credit for having a talented sister-in-law and really I didn't do anything... so thanks Shauni for helping me look good!




I think Jimmy is waiting for a present that isn't a barbie or princess toy
