Ashlin has been waiting to build a snowman for weeks now. We had a little snow a month ago, but didn't get out to build a snowman before it all melted. Yesterday we received a bunch of snow. When Ashlin woke up and saw the snow out her window she yelled across the house, "MOM... it's,,,there's... can we build a snowman (smiling bright). So we go out to build a snowman, we made one about 1 foot tall and when we were done Ashlin responds, "ok, now let's build a BIG snowman." So here we go:
Uncle Justin came and spent his Birthday building a snowman with Ashlin. Happy Birthday Justin!!
After THIS snowman Ashlin says, "ok, now lets make a REALLY big snowman." I was thinking, holy cow this girl is CRAZY!! Rachel was freezing at this point so we went inside while uncle Justin and Ashlin made an EVEN BIGGER snowman.
This one only lasted a few hours before he fell over due to poor construction (aren't you in construction management Justin?- j/k)

Oh my gosh, I almost just cried. I am so happy to see that snow is NOT in my front yard! I am so happy that it was 60 here today!!!
Wow I forgot it was snowing time for Utah. I am very impressed with your snowmen...nice work!
Haha - you need to check out a book from the library for Ashlin - it is called "When will it snow?" - a children's book that Ryan LOVES!
I sometimes think your winters are less severe than ours - maybe because your's look like more fun! And I am so jealous that you got Uncle Juster-Buster! It is a good thing he changed majors...

What a determined little snowman builder you have! It's good to see that Ashlin takes after her mom in her love for all things cold and snowy! :)
Haha! I just read Jeremy and Shauni's post and it REALLY made me laugh...
So fun...I love that she just kept wanting to build it bigger...very cute!
