I also have to be honest and say how nervous I am about the aftermath of Rachel. Rachel can have quiet the temper and is known to hold a grudge. I hope she doesn't hold this against me for too long.
I love this picture because Rachel picked out her own outfit and Ashlin made them both sandwiches. (The mole on her leg is the one being removed)

So which are you MORE nervous about...Rachel's surgery or Rachel's potential aftermath? Whatever you decide we'll be praying for all of you! I love the outfit and how cute your girls are!
She'll be fine I'm sure!!! I love the pics of the kids! Rachel is so old!
Sorry about your anxiety and your breakdown, but I totally feel for you! It is so hard to have to do things like that to your kids, even if you know it's really for their good in the long run. We're here for you for whatever you need!
She will thank you for it later, right? And Marin was in SUCH a bad mood when she got out of her ear surgery, and she cried and cried in my arms, but she WOULD NOT go to anyone else, so remember even if (when) Rachel is mad at you, you will still be the one that she wants to comfort her.
Good luck! So scary for parents to not be in control in these situations! We'll be thinking of you and anxious to hear how it goes next week. Love you guys!
Everything is going to be alright, and she'll have lots of people praying for her...and you! Maybe you need a blessing before it happens too!!! I think I had one after Bay's finger was cut off...it helped my anxiety!!
I hope everything goes well--I couldn't imagine having to go through one of my kids having surgery.
Tell them to give Rachel the drugs that make her forget--that way she won't remember that you were the one that handed her over!
Jenae! We will say prayers for sweet little Rachel! I'm sure everything will go very smoothly. Little kiddos are so resiliant I'm sure she will be up and making a mess sooner than you think! She won't even remember it for long ;)Talk to you soon I hope!
