Rachel is sometimes known to pester Ashlin. After one such time here was our conversation:
Ashlin: "(frustrated sigh) Mom, I give up on Rachel. Do you give up on her too?"
Me: "No, I don't give up on her."
Ashlin: "But why?"
Me: "Because I love her, and I am her mom."
5 or 10 minutes later,
Ashlin: "(Sigh) OK, I guess I won't give up her either since I am her only sister."

That is too great. "Do you give up on her, too?" Just precious.
I love it! Sisters are the greatests (and so are mommas like you!)
Hilarious...especially when I read it with Ashlin's soft little voice in my head...too cute!
This comment is for Ashlin. I had a little sister that I would have given up on too. She was really irritating. But finally, when we were in High School, we became very good friends. Now I miss her a lot and wish she lived next door. I hope you and Rachel do not wait until High School to become good friends. Love, Grandma Gemie
Ashlin, you have reached a level of maturity that some adults fail to achieve :) Way to go for not giving up on Rachel. She'll thank you for it later.
So cute!
