This is Ashlin's birthday breakfast... doughnuts.
Rachel was loving them.
Here she is getting ready for her "Princess Party." She went with Brett to work for an hour or so while I set up and finished up her cake. I wanted her to walk in and have the decorations and cake a surprise.
Her castle cake! It didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it (not just purple and white), but all the girls at the party loved it.
Eating their Royal lunch of PB and Jelly sandwiches.
Here are all the party goers. I especially love our Knight and Jedi Knights. (Even more, I love the look on Jimmy's face)
Slip n' slide. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to play on this because it was so rainy and a little chilly, but we were able to squeeze in some fun outside. Rachel, I was told, was the traffic director. She knew everyone's name at the party and would yell, "Jack go!... Ashlin, go!... Sierra, go!.... etc."
Thank you to all the friends and family who came to celebrate this very special girl's birthday. You made it a magical time for her. And maybe now I will get a brake from the phrase, "Mom, can I get ________ for my birthday." Probably not.

Jenae! This looks like such a fun party! I am certainly going to have to call you for tips once Levi starts having birthdays! Again, I am totally impressed with the cake...you are really setting your self up for years of hard work making cakes!
Holy Cake! That's impressive...and quite an impressive turnout of princesses as well as a knight and two jedi knights...wow! We're so sorry we missed it, but glad you had a wonderful birthday Ashlin!
You do know how to throw parties, Jenae! Maybe you and Kristi should go into business together--I would pay for a custom party created and thrown by the two of you!
Four! Seriously!?! Our baby girls are growing up huh?
We had such a great time!! We love Ashlin very much!
What a fun party! It's tough coming up with ideas for parties but this one seemed fabulous. And what a cake! I'm very impressed!!
I couldn't agree more - Ashlin is as sweet as they come in the 4-yr-old variety...now Rachel on the other hand...reminds me a bit more of her mom!
Ashlin,
Happy Happy 4th Birthday,
It looks like you had a blast. What a pretty princess.
Love Grandpa & Grandma
YES!!!!!!
Ashlin, I'm glad that you had such a great time at your party! You are such a sweet and adorable girl. You are lucky to have such a talented mom that can make castle cakes :) Happy Birthday!
Jenae, that is so funny how Rachel was calling out people's names for the slip 'n slide! They're both growing up so quickly!
So cute! You're such a cute mom, Jenae.
Oh Janae! I Love Ashlin in her Cinderella Dress. I LOVED watching her Grammy sew it for her. What a lot of love she puts into every single stitch. She truly looks like a princess. What a darling Mommy you are. I can not believe the amazing cake you made. WOWSERS! Like Mother Like Daughter. Way to go.
Sure Love you,
Sister T.O.
You never cease to amaze me! I really wish we lived closer--I'm sure our girls would have a ton of fun!
