California Vacation

Two weeks ago, we took our family vacation to CALIFORNIA! We had a blast!! My parents are Mission Presidents for our church, and live in Santa Clarita, and my sister Camie and her family live near Disneyland. I was such a dork and forgot our camera (who does that?), but luckily Brett had his iphone so we got a few pictures to remember our trip.

Rachel taking a nap halfway through the day. We decided to take her on Pirates while she was asleep because she was protesting or nervous about most rides. She stayed asleep until the first drop, and wasn't very happy to be woken up that way. It was kind of funny. Ashlin really liked Pirates, she wanted to ride it again with me.






Rachel wasn't a fan of very many rides (she loved seeing and meeting the princesses) until we introduced her to the Tea Cups. Then the crazy Rachel we know came out and then every ride started to be a lot more fun.


We spent the entire day there, and had a "magical" time. The girls were asleep within minutes of getting to our car.

I really wish I had brought my camera because we did a lot of other fun things I don't have pictures of. We swam a lot with Adam, Camie, Spencer, Ben, and Josh, and even spent one day at Santa Monica beach. Camie showed us a fun hamburger place in L.A.. It was a lot of fun to spend time with my parents who have been super busy the last year. My dad went swimming with us one day, and my mom went to lunch with us another. Brett and I also celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary. Thanks to everyone for letting us stay at your homes, and taking time to play with us!!
