So, I have been "tagged" by a lot of people, but have yet to actually follow through with it. Brett decided that I needed to do it and then decided he would do it for me. I promised I wouldn't change anything, but I add any rebuttals I may have in parenthesis.
1. I am obsessed with the state of TEXAS. I really do believe that my state is better than the rest because the people who lived in my state long ago had to fight for their territory. Santa Ana came over with a bunch of soldiers to try and beat us...us texans were just a bunch of farmers with pitch forks and we beat them mexicans like a drum. That is why everything from Texas is bigger and better. I am from Texas! (yes, it is true that I love where I am from, but I don't think it is better than the rest, I PERSONALLY prefer it to other states where the winter months might be longer than my liking)
2. I have this interesting thing I do with one side of my mouth when I smile. It is like I smile on one side of my mouth a ton and on the other side of my mouth I don't at all. I think it is because when I was little my mother enrolled me in a cartoon drawing class. My teacher would always draw the cartoons like that...I guess it stuck with me too. (Brett makes fun of my smile all the time, but I refuse to believe it does what he says it does)
3. I have some OCD tendencies. I hate for things to be half-way finished. If we are on a long trip and we get home really really really late or really really really early I make Brett get all the luggage out of the car and put everything away in our house before he can go to bed. It cannot wait...it has to be done right then. Brett does it so kindly and without complaint. (ONE time I did that 4 years ago- sorry Brett!)
4. I have a really weird pinky toe. It's on sideways. My dad used to try to hold it straight when I was little. I passed that on to Ashlin. (All true)
5. I stock pile. Not garbage, but things like toilet paper, soap, towels, cereal, etc. (Yeah... food storage! And I am pretty sure I get that from my dad)
6. I am very gullible and brett can get me to believe anything. I try to get him to believe stuff that isn't real all the time, but for some reason he can always tell when I am lying. I am not a good lier. (Sad for me to actually admit, but this does happen in our house.. the worst part is Brett usually forgets to tell me he had made whatever it was up.)
7. I chew my fingernails when I am nervous. (I begged Brett to take this out because I am so embarrassed by it!! I have been trying to stop!!!)
8. I tell my husband how miserable I am in the cold all the time, and then go and shovel all the snow. Somehow I hate the cold but love to shovel the snow???? I don't get it... (Yeah, I don't know either, I do enjoy shoveling- my next door neighbor and I have a lot of fun shoveling our driveways and talking)
9. I have the two cutest girls and most wonderful husband in the world. They all make me laugh constantly. If you make a joke on the phone and you can't hear anything for a while it is probably me laughing. I have a silent laugh. (Also all true)

I am cracking up laughing reading this--you two are so funny! Now that we have seen Jenae through the eyes of Brett, I think you need to post another tag so we can see Brett through the eyes of Jenae...don't you think?! Oh, and I just told Jeremy that next time Josh Groban comes to town, he and Brett are taking us on a date. :)

that was so hilarious! i've often wondered if we would like to know what our husbands notice about us...i guess it's not all that bad. and cute little girls, as always!
PS: number 3 is true of MY husband and i am the one saying, 'cant we just go to bed already?' haha!
