I hesitate to even post about this change in our home because I worry she will revert back once I tell the world how sweet she has been.
She tells me all the time, "Look mom, I am listening!" She is also a lot more helpful and thoughtful of others. I guess we are almost out of the terrible two's - and it only took 2 years to do it!
We love you Rachel, and all the excitement you bring into our lives... feistiness and all!!
This picture has nothing to do with this post, but I thought it was so cute! Rachel burned the tip of her finger helping with dinner (touched the hot stove) and wanted to keep her hand in the cold water while she ate.

I love Rachel's feistiness. Maybe because she is always sweet to my babies. Anyway, that girl's spunk is going to serve her well in life.
I have to agree - I was all geared up for an alpha-female fight between Rachel and Marin, and it hasn't happened! FYI, if Aunt Alyssa were taking care of Rachel, she would not have had to put her blistered fingers in ice water 2 hours after the incident - she would have been drugged.

What a sweetie! I can't wait to see her and Ashlin (and you and Brett of course). When might that be? I just want to hug you all. I hope the burn is all healed. Grandma Gemie wishes she could kiss it better.
